What is single-sided adhesive tape?

A single-sided adhesive tape is a tape consisting of a backing (foam, film, paper, etc.) to which a layer of adhesive is applied on one side only. Unlike double-sided tape, it provides only one adhesive bond, leaving the other side free for various functions: signage, insulation, masking or protection.

Used in a wide range of industries, it is a key component of the temporary or permanent fixing tool is highly prized for its ease of application, light weight and compatibility with a wide range of substrates.
