PFA (PerFluoroAlkoxy) film is a transparent thermoplastic that is resistant to most solvents, liquids and gases. It has very good resistance to moisture and organic vapors. This polymer has similar properties to PTFE. However, PFA film offers more processing possibilities: these films can be heat-sealed, thermoformed, heat-welded, metallized, laminated or used as a hot melt adhesive.
All these manufacturing possibilities, combined with the excellent properties of PFA, make it a versatile material that can be used in many applications.
