Machining

ADDEV Materials has all the know-how in the field of machining. Equipped with the latest machinery, allowing great freedom in design and production, the experts at ADDEV Materials manufacture complex, highly technical parts.

Using numerically controlled or traditional machines (milling, turning and sawing), in small and large sizes, in small and medium production runs, the ADDEV Materials teams meet the most demanding requirements for the manufacture of custom parts.

These machining techniques enable us to achieve tight tolerances without tooling costs.

What we can machine :

  • Machining insulating parts
  • Machining thermosetting parts
  • Machining composite materials
  • Machining polycarbonate
  • Machining thermoplastics

Sawing

Sawing is the first stage in shaping a machined part.

ADDEV Materials can saw all its materials using different types of saws, from small to large production runs:

  • panel saws
  • automatic cutting saws
  • board cutting machines for small thicknesses

Numerically controlled deburring saw: a saw used to accurately prepare the cut product prior to small or large production runs, capable of processing thicknesses from 0.2 to 102 mm with a cutting tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm.

Milling

Milling is a manufacturing process that involves removing material in the form of chips.

Milling is carried out on a numerically-controlled machine, enabling prismatic parts as well as complex shapes to be machined.

ADDEV Materials' machinery also includes 3- and 4-axis machines for the production of large parts, such as press plates, mould bases, flanges, cheeks, spacers, guides, wedges, etc.

ADDEV Materials also has a numerically-controlled routing milling machine: a high-capacity table that can be used to produce plugs, seals, parts for conveyor lines and other miscellaneous parts for industry without clamping.

Shooting

Mechanical turning is a machining process involving the removal of material. The material to be machined is clamped between the jaws of a chuck, then sculpted using cutting tools. This process is used to produce simple or complex cylindrical and/or conical parts (turning lathes).

ADDEV Materials has a CNC lathe and a conventional lathe to produce rollers, pulleys, guide fingers, pinions, centring pins, washers, etc. in high-performance plastics and thermosetting laminates.

Opening

What's more, ADDEV Materials allows you to assemble parts by gluing, fitting inserts or even varnishing your parts as required.

Our processes :

  • Technical assembly of materials using adhesive (two-component epoxy glue, CAF silicone glue, cyanoacrylate glue, etc.) or screws (composite or metal).
  • Assembly of inserts, threaded inserts, self-tapping sockets...
  • Finishing parts with a protective varnish, impregnation varnish, tropicalisation varnish, anti-flash varnish, acrylic varnish, transparent epoxy varnish, alkyd varnish, etc.
  • Composite assembly
  • Kitting: delivery made by grouping together several types of ready-to-use parts.
