Internship or Work-study Data Analyst F/H

We are opening a Data Analyst internship (M/H) at our head office, for a start-up between January and March and a duration of 6 months. This offer is also available on a sandwich course basis.

Who will you be working with? 

Join a dynamic team and make a direct contribution to the Group's development strategy and its digital transformation.

You will be joining the Data Analyst team, with a focus on building our new BI environment.

You will also be required to work closely with the Data Engineer team, with whom many cross-functional projects are carried out, as well as with other internal teams depending on project needs and objectives.

Main tasks

This experience will enable you to play an active role in redesigning our BI data model, improving data performance and creating Power BI dashboards.

Your duties will be as follows:

• Design and optimise new SQL views (table/field selection, development and documentation).
• Participating in the creation and structuring of Power BI data models (clear, high-performance modelling in line with best practice).
• Developing new Power BI dashboards (relevant, ergonomic visualisations tailored to business needs).
• Helping to build the new Power BI application.

You will be immersed at the heart of a data project that is structuring the company, with the opportunity to develop your skills in SQL (Snowflake datawarehouse), Power BI, semantic modelling and BI best practice.

You'll be supported by Data experts in a stimulating environment that encourages initiative.

You'll be involved in all the stages of a data architecture project, from design to visualisation, so you'll be able to follow the progress of a project from A to Z.

Profile required

You have an IT degree (Bac +4, +5) with a strong Data component and are looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship, a gap year internship or a sandwich course. You have the following prerequisites:

• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Solid foundations in data modelling (star diagrams, relationships, keys, etc.).
• An appreciated plus: Skills in Power BI (modelling, DAX, creation of visuals).

• Thoroughness, attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to analyse, structure and simplify information.
• Curiosity, desire to learn and autonomy.
• Good communication skills with technical and business contacts.
• Fluency in English is a plus.
