1. Presentation and career path<\/h3>
  • Can you tell us about your role at ADDEV Materials and the path that led you to this position?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

    I'm currently Site Manager at Chassieu. I reached this position thanks to the confidence that management has shown in me throughout my career.<\/p>

    • What have been the key moments or main challenges in your career?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

      There have been a number of defining moments that have shaped my career, but it's above all the challenges I face on a daily basis that have enabled me to grow and assert myself in my current role.<\/p>

      2. Experience as a Woman in Industry<\/h3>
      • Given that the industry has historically been a male-dominated sector, how did you experience your integration and career progression?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

        Very well, in fact. I've never put any barriers in my way. Being a woman in the industry is an opportunity.<\/p>

        • Have you encountered any specific obstacles as a woman? If so, how did you overcome them?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

          Not really. And even if there were, I didn't see them as obstacles.<\/p>

          • How do you think the position of women has changed in your sector in recent years?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

            It has progressed significantly. We are seeing more and more women in positions of responsibility in industry. They have made their mark because of their skills, not because they are women.<\/p>

            3. Leadership and inspiration<\/h3>
            • In your opinion, what are the essential qualities needed to be a woman leader today?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

              Don't differentiate between the way you manage men and women. Above all, we are human beings. If differences exist, it's often because society has constructed them. It's a mistake that some men still sometimes make.<\/p>

              • Have you had any mentors or inspirational figures, either at ADDEV or elsewhere, who have influenced your career path?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

                Yes, absolutely. Aude Cury and Marie Blanchard Brunel are the two most inspiring people I've met at ADDEV. But my real mentor is my mother. As a former Sales Director, she taught me that nothing is impossible.<\/p>

                4. Work-life balance<\/h3>
                • What challenges have you faced in balancing your career and your personal life?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

                  The main challenge is organisation. You have to learn not to give in to the pressure of time and know how to let go. Mental workload remains a major issue for women.<\/p>

                  • What advice would you give to women who want to develop professionally while maintaining personal balance?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>
