1. Introduction and Professional background<\/h3>
  • Can you tell us about your role at ADDEV Materials and the path that led you to this position?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

    I'm a Sales Support Specialist.
    My path to this role began with a career as a sales administrator in a manufacturing company, where I gained practical experience in market research and customer prospecting. This experience piqued my interest in sales support, as I loved interacting with customers and understanding their needs. Over the years, I looked for positions where I could work closely with the sales teams, which led me to my current position at ADDEV Materials. Here I can combine my passion for the aerospace industry with my sales support skills, contributing to the success of our sales initiatives and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.<\/p>

    • What have been the key moments or main challenges in your professional development?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

      Building strong relationships with the sales team and customers was essential.
      Identifying a flaw in the sales process and proposing a new approach to optimise order processing was a key moment in my progress.<\/p>

      2. Experience as a woman in your sector<\/h3>
      • Given that this sector has historically been dominated by men, how did you experience your integration and career progression?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

        Finding mentors who could offer advice, support and guidance was crucial. Exchanging with other women in the sector also helps to create a sense of community.<\/p>


        In addition, understanding the dynamics of the corporate culture is essential. This includes recognising informal networks, communication styles and decision-making processes, which may differ from what you are used to.<\/p>

        • Have you faced any specific challenges as a woman? If so, how did you overcome them?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

          Juggling work and personal life can be difficult. By sharing our experiences and strategies within communities or networks, women can help each other overcome these challenges.<\/p>

          • How do you think the role of women in your sector has changed in recent years?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

            Societal attitudes are changing, with greater acceptance of women's leadership and contributions in various fields. This cultural change is essential to fostering an inclusive environment.<\/p>

            3. Leadership and inspiration<\/h3>
            • In your opinion, what are the essential qualities needed to be a woman leader today?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

              Empathy, resilience and self-confidence.<\/p>

              • Have you had any mentors or inspirational figures, either at ADDEV or elsewhere, who have influenced your career?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

                My former manager, who gave me constructive feedback and development opportunities.<\/p>

                  Reconciling a career and a personal life, particularly as a mother, can present a number of challenges, such as time management and feelings of guilt.<\/p>

                  • What advice would you give to women who want to progress professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>

                    Having clear objectives helps you focus your efforts and make informed decisions about how to invest your time.<\/p>

                    • What message would you like to give to young women who are reluctant to enter your field or aim for leadership positions?<\/em><\/li><\/ul>
