Seeking a self-motivated, hardworking individual to help the momentum of our Shared Service team continue to grow. You will be a Staff Accountant for our Aerospace & Defense division and become an intricate element of our progressive TEAM environment.

As a Staff Accountant you are given the opportunity to:

  • · Analyze accounting records, including finance statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.
  • · Works with the Director of Accounting, Location Manager, and Controller on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization.
  • · Work with Controller to prepare annual budget, analyze the variances and implement corrective actions.
  • · Works with AR & AP team to reconcile bank statements.
  • · Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals to ERP.

The individual in our Staff Accountant role should:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred in some type of accounting or business program.
  • Have two or more years working experience preferably in accounting.  Preferably in a setting that handles inventory.
  • Have Strong Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word.
  • Have a strong moral compass to handle sensitive and confidential financial documents.
  • Ability to work Autonomously within a Team setting – and enthusiasm for our company values of: Transparency, Enthusiasm, Autonomy, and Motivation that make up our Team spirit.
  • Have the ability to travel a couple times a year to other locations in the US.
