What is joint compound?

La joint compound is a flexible sealant used to make static or dynamic seals on mechanical parts, engines, plumbing systems or industrial assemblies. Unlike pre-cut gaskets, gasket paste is applied directly to the surface, forming a bespoke seal that conforms perfectly to irregularities.
