Technical Data Sheet
3M ISOLOSS LS polyurethane foam is a high-performance polyurethane foam designed to offer excellent durability, low permanent deformation and effective shock and vibration absorption. Thanks to a wide range of densities and thicknesses, it can be adapted to a wide range of industrial requirements: damping, cushioning, sealing or mechanical protection.
Manufactured by Aearo Technologies, a 3M company, this foam is recognised for its ability to maintain mechanical and acoustic performance over time, even in severe conditions.
High durability The new, more compact design of the new product: it retains its shape and mechanical properties over time, even after numerous compressions.
Effective shock absorption ideal for vibration-sensitive environments.
Versatility Available in a range of densities and thicknesses to suit every application.
Compliance The new, easy-to-install, easy-to-maintain design: fits complex shapes to provide effective support or wedging.
Resistance to extreme environments Resistance to flames, chemicals and severe temperatures.
Designed for design engineers, ISOLOSS™ LS foam is widely used in the following sectors:
3M ISOLOSS LS polyurethane foam is referenced by code, according to density and thickness. Here are some examples available:
LS-1006LM (10 lb/ft³, 0.06") - very flexible
LS-1512 (15 lb/ft³, 0.12") - support & cushioning
LS-2025 (20 lb/ft³, 0.25") - reinforced absorption
LS-2503 (25 lb/ft³, 0.03") - high density fine protection
