The attachment system for APLIX self-gripping fasteners is based on two strips. Due to their high strength, these fasteners can be used thousands of times.
One strip is covered with the grippers secured to a support whereas the other strip has a support which forms the backing for the loops. To activate the fastening system, simply press the two strips together to engage the grippers with the loops.
Different materials are used to produce the supports: polyamide, polyester, stainless steel, PPS, Nomex.
Different gripper profiles are used: hook, mushroom or harpoon.
