The mono-component polyurethane adhesive is a mono-component urethane-based adhesive that can polymerize in two ways: either at room temperature, thanks to humidity (traditional polyurethanes), or hot (for applications requiring short handling and bonding times).
The main advantages of the mono-component polyurethane adhesive are a good resistance to shocks and vibrations thanks to a high elasticity (assembly of materials with different thermal expansion coefficients) and high mechanical performances, allowing to realize with a single product bonding and sealing.
Single-component polyurethane adhesives can be used to assemble a wide variety of materials, including porous materials (concrete, plaster), metals, glass, as well as a large number of plastic materials.
