The single-component epoxy glue is a ready-to-use mixture of an epoxy resin and a hardener. It is a thermosetting adhesive, i.e. it polymerizes at high temperature (about 120°C) and under pressure.
It is sometimes referred to as a structural adhesive because of its remarkable mechanical performance, particularly in shear (over 7 MPa at room temperature).
Epoxy glue also has excellent adhesion to metals, thermoplastic and thermoset polymers as well as composite materials, making it a perfect solution for structural assemblies on most substrates.
