Kraft

Product description

KRAFT® papers are made from plant cellulose (a fiber found in wood) and have good electrical and thermal insulation properties, are impregnable and have no melting point.

They are widely used in the electrical engineering industry: transformers, cable insulation, cable bushings, etc. KRAFT® papers are also used to avoid mixing with PVC and PE insulated high voltage cable jackets.

To meet the wide needs of the industry, we can provide various ranges of KRAFT® paper:

  • Different density paper
  • Different thickness range
  • Crepe paper for cable winding or pipe insulation
  • High-density paper for wire insulation

Technical properties

  • Electrical insulation (high dielectric strength)
  • Thermal insulation
  • Impregnable
  • No melting point
