Single-sided EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer) foam adhesive tapes have a closed-cell EPDM foam backing coated with an acrylic adhesive. EPDM foam adhesive tape is ideal for filling and sealing gaps.
EPDM materials are elastomers which are often used in industrial applications as a replacement for rubbers.
The properties of the elastomers vary depending on the type of EPDM, however, they are typically: good resistance to chemicals, excellent resistance to environmental conditions (ozone, weathering, light, cold) and good resistance to oils and plasticisers.
