Product description

Hotmelt glue is made of thermoplastic materials: a polymer in a solid state at room temperature, the glue is melted with a heating gun, allowing the application of liquid glue on the parts to be joined and solidifying when cooling at room temperature.

Thermoplastic materials are typically found in the form of glue sticks, granules or blocks.

Depending on the application and the substrate, different materials are used:

  • Polyolefin adhesives: wood, polyethylene, polypropylene, glass, ABS
  • EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) adhesives: wood and cardboard
  • Acrylic glues: PE, PP, PVC, ABS
  • Polyamide glues : wood, cardboard, high temperature resistant
