Two-part methacrylate adhesives are adhesives comprising a metacrylate base (MMA) and a hardener in two separate compartments and polymerizing at room temperature.
These adhesives are qualified as structural, i.e. they have very good mechanical performances (especially in traction and shear) and allow the assembly of a large variety of materials: metals, plastics, ceramics, glasses…
They are particularly recommended in the case of assembly with composite materials, such as polyester or fiberglass.
The two-part methacrylate adhesive allows a high resistance bonding for many applications.
