PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) films

Product description

Polyethylene Naphthalate film is chemically comparable to PET films, however, it offers superior properties, particularly at extreme temperatures. Indeed, PEN film starts to shrink at around 190°C, compared with 130°C for PET films.

PEN Polyethylene Naphthalate films were developed for situations in which the films have to withstand particularly demanding conditions, such as elevated temperatures (155°C), contact with aggressive chemical products or applications where barrier performance is required.

Since their properties are better than those of PET, PEN films fill the performance gap between PET polyester films and high performance polyimide films.
